During his time with the team, the Utah rider helped Honda secure strong results in the World Rally-Raid Championship, highlighted by a fourth-place finish at the 2026 Dakar Rally and his first career Dakar stage victory.

In a statement, Howes thanked the team, mechanics, and staff for their support, calling his time with Honda an unforgettable experience. Monster Energy Honda HRC also expressed its appreciation for Howes’ professionalism, commitment, and contributions to the program, wishing him success in the future.

The announcement leaves one of America’s top rally-raid riders available as preparations begin for the remainder of the 2026 World Rally-Raid Championship season and the 2027 Dakar Rally.
