The 2026 Monster Energy SuperMotocross World Championship came to a dramatic conclusion Saturday at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena, where Jorge Prado and Levi Kitchen were crowned SMX World Champions following a championship-deciding final round in Ridgedale, Missouri. Prado captured the 450SMX World Championship, becoming the first Spanish-born rider to win the SuperMotocross title. The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider entered the finale with the championship lead and secured the title with a 5-1 overall finish. Haiden Deegan dominated the Ridgedale round with a 1-2 score, earning his second overall victory of the SMX postseason. Deegan won the opening moto ahead of Ken Roczen and Hunter Lawrence, while Prado finished fifth. With the championship on the line in Moto 2, Prado grabbed the holeshot and controlled the race from start to finish. Deegan closed the gap late in the moto but could not make the pass, with Prado taking the win by 1.7 seconds and securing the championship by seven points over Deegan.
In the 250SMX class, Levi Kitchen finally broke through to claim his first professional championship. Kitchen finished second overall with a 2-2 score and held off Ryder DiFrancesco to win the title by 24 points. Cole Davies was the star of the night in the 250SMX class, sweeping both motos for the overall victory. Davies charged past Kitchen late in the opening moto before controlling the second moto from the start. His 1-1 performance moved him into third in the final championship standings.
