SCORE Postpones San Felipe 250

The current ongoing Coronavirus situation in the world has forced the postponement of the SCORE San Felipe 250 at the end of March. SCORE released a statement saying the race has been postponed until May 9th.

“In order to provide teams with as much time as possible to prepare between races, we have also rescheduled this year’s SCORE Baja 500,” stated Jose A. Grijalva, SCORE President/Race Director. “We sincerely appreciate the patience, support and understanding from all of our racers and sponsors as well as the coordination with Mexican Federal, State and Municipal Authorities, but under the circumstances that have impacted day to day activities around the World, SCORE International has determined that these changes are the best options or everyone involved.”
“We also want to remind teams, crews, media and the fans the importance of following preventative measures such as washing hands regularly, avoiding direct contact with other individuals and covering your mouth when coughing,” added Grijalva.

The SCORE Baja 500 has been moved from June 3-7 to June 16th-21. SCORE says they will continue to monitor world developments and release a more detailed schedule of events for both races in the next several weeks.
