It was a wild weekend at ERX Motorsports Park in Elk River Minnesota for the latest rounds of Championship Off Road Racing. The race at ERX was set in place of the cancelled Bark River event. Series officials and the track team came together put the event together in just a couple weeks.
The shake-up started in Saturday’s Pro-Light race. Carson Parrish ended Kyle Greaves undefeated winning streak. Greaves had won every single event since the series started in July. Kyle Leduc was the top qualifier in Pro-4 and had the lead, but CJ Greaves was able to make a push for the win on the final lap. Kyle Kleiman was victorious in Pro-2.
Sunday’s racing saw Ryan Beat taking his first victory in Pro-2. Beat has struggled with mechanical issues on his new truck. Greaves was back on the podium in Pro-4 completing a weekend sweep and Kyle Greaves was back on his usual top podium spot.
Championship Off-Road’s next event is Labor Day weekend at Crandon International Raceway in September.
