Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Triple Header in Chandler

The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series held another triple header this season, with 3-days of racing at Wild Horse Motorsports Park in Chandler, Arizona. The event was held without spectators. Strict COVID protocols were required for the series to host the event which included social distancing and mandatory face masks at the venue.

In ProBuggy, Elliot Watson swept the weekend winning all three rounds. Watson now has six consecutive wins under his belt. Matt Brister was out front but could not hold off the faster Watson. In both Round 6 and 7, Brister would have flat tire issues.

Brock Heger won both rounds 6 & 7. Christopher Polvoorde was out front early in Round 6, but a broken throttle cable would sideline his efforts. In Round 7, Heger held off Cole Mamer for the win, but in Round 8, it was Mamer who finally took the victory.

Myles Cheek consistently swept the weekend in Production UTV class.

Jerett Brooks took a Round 6 win leading the race wire to wire. Ryan Beat was out front in Round 7 leading every single lap. Beat had massive pressure from behind at Doug Mittag did everything he could, only settling for 2nd place. In Round 8, Brooks was back on the podium in first place.

The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series heads to Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, California for the final championship rounds in October.
