Mike “Too Tall” Bell sadly passed away on Sunday. Bell was 63 years old. He reportedly suffered a heart attack while mountain biking near his home in Southern California. Bell was a leading Supercross and Motocross racer in the late 1970’s and early 80’s.
Bell rode for Yamaha during his pro career. During Bell’s seven-year pro career, he won a total of 20 AMA and Trans-AMA nationals. Bell was inducted into AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 2001.
