Eli Tomac Wins Daytona Supercross

Supercross is back after a small break. The latest round in Atlanta was the start of a triple header. Eli Tomac grabbed the win. Aaron Plessinger had the holeshot and was out front, five seconds ahead Cooper Webb.

Chase Sexton was moving up towards the front. Sexton made a pass on Webb. Plessigner went down after washing out his front end. Sexton made the pass for the lead. Tomac also made a pass on Webb and was sitting in second place. With the white flag in sight, Sexton had a run in with a lapped rider, costing him the win. Tomac moved into position for the victory.

In the Western Regional 250SX class, Nate Thrasher grabbed the holeshot and ran away with the lead all the way to the finish. Justin Cooper took second, helping his season points lead. Cameron McAdoo finished third.
