Laughlin, Nevada was the backdrop for the Best in the Desert UTV Legends race. Mitch Guthrie was the top qualifier at time-trials.
The series hosted a youth UTV race sponsored by 4-wheel parts. With 50 young racers participating. Chase Mankin took home a win in the UTV Y 250 class. Jacob Williamson won in the 170 Youth class. Travis Salle and Kendall Hawks also took home wins.
In Saturday’s pro-race, top qualifier Mitch Guthrie was out front with the holeshot. Guthrie was leading for the first four laps until he blew a shock causing him to fall back in the field. That opened the door for Ryan Piplic to take the lead. Piplic was being chased down by Dustin Jones until Jones lost power steering. Piplic would take the win. Jones still managed to hang on for second and Brett and Christian Sourapas finished third.
Other winners in the other classes included Carson Wernimont, Braden Baker and Ryan Prosser.
