Colton Haaker is already off to a strong start this season sweeping the season opener in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Husqvarna Rockstar rider won all three AMA Endurocross races Saturday night.
Haaker had his work cut out for him in the second race after starting from the back due to an inverted starting order. He charged towards the front and never looked back. In the final race, Haaker beat his competitor, Trystan Hart by 1.875 seconds.
“I had a great night tonight, it was the perfect night, honestly,” Haaker said. “I went 1-1-1 and got the Hot Lap, and I attribute a lot to the team and I working to get the bike set-up perfect for me. It was a big difference overall when that came together. I’m just stoked. Honestly, I’ve already done more in this career than I ever thought I was going to and after the realization of that, everything from this point forward is just a cherry on top.”
Round 2 of the Endurocross Series will be held in Amarillo, Texas.
