Seth Quintero seems to have put his bad luck behind him. Quintero claimed another win during Stage 4 of the Dakar Rally. The longest stage of the rally, competitors had 439 miles to complete with over half of those miles’ navigation only. Competitors faced forks in the road and quickly had to decide which way to go. There was also a highly technical dune section that challenged even the most experienced rally team.
One of those experienced teams was that of Nasser Al-Attiyah who won Stage 4 and continues to lead in the overall rankings. Finishing under a minute behind Al-Attiyah was Sebastien Loeb with Carlos Sainz just seconds behind.
The bike class saw another win from Joan Barrreda Bort who started 25th. Ricky Brabec was the only American to finish in the top 10, literally finishing 10th position. Skyler Howes finished 21st, minimizing any risks during the long stage.
