Feld Entertainment has promoted Dave Prater to Vice President of Supercross. Prater has been with the Supercross series since 2000. Prater has contributed to the sport over the years and helped elevate Feld’s position since it purchased the series in 2008.
Some of Prater’s accomplishments include revamping the points structure and introduction of the Triple Crown Format. Additionally, Prater is responsible for expanding the Dave Coombs Sr. East/West showdown events, Supercross Futures and Monster Energy Cup. Prater helped facilitate the deal to bring Supercross to NBC Sports.
Prater has a strong relationship with the industry and his expertise is another reason why Feld promoted him. Prater helped lead the series over the last couple years through the unprecedented circumstances of the pandemic that led to event cancellations and a mid-season reschedule.
