Ford Ranger Raptor Set to Race SCORE Baja 1000

The next-generation Ford Ranger Raptor will race the 2022 SCORE Baja 1000. Ford Performance partnered with Australia’s Kelly Racing and Lovell Racing to develop the truck. The Ranger Raptor will race on a low-carbon biofuel. Furthermore, the vehicle will be right-hand drive.

“By entering this event, we’re building on the hundreds of thousands of kilometers of development testing and pushing the Ranger Raptor to new extremes,” said Brian Novak, Off-Road Motorsports Supervisor, Ford Performance. “The Baja 1000 is a demanding event and a well-known proving ground for off-road vehicles,” he added. “We are excited to compete in this extreme event with Ranger Raptor.”

Previous FORD vehicles such as the F-150 and Bronco have had podium finishes in Baja. The Ford Ranger Raptor will race in SCORE’S stock class.
