The Dakar Rally is about to start, and Toyota Gazoo Racing has three entries. Reigning masters Nasser Al-Attiyah and co-driver Mathieu Baumel will lead the way. Newly crowned South African Rally-Raid Champion Giniel De Villers and co-driver Dennis Murphy will head up the second team and Henk Lategan with Brett Cummings will be the third entry.
The drivers will be behind the wheel of the GR DKR Toyota Hilux T1+. Toyota Gazoo Racing has been improving the durability, quality and reliability of the Hilux T1+. In addition to the three factory teams, there are seven privateers that will race in the Dakar with the Hilux.

Also, the car has been getting steadily better throughout the year, and with a final test in Namibia, I’m sure that we’ve locked in the best possible version of the GR DKR Hilux T1+yet.
