Can-Am driver Kyle Chaney added a third King of the Hammers UTV Championship to his resume. Chaney conquered the challenging rock and desert course in 3 hours, 31 minutes and 45 seconds.

“It’s definitely a mind game for sure. I mean, you just think about it (the race and course) all the time and think about the trails changing and everything. You pre-run as much as you can, but everything changes every time you get to it.”

Finishing behind Chaney was another Can-Am with Phil Blurton behind the wheel. Blurton was racing in the stacked Pro-Mod class which he took first in. Cole Clark, who started the race in 22nd place worked his way up for a third-place overall finish.

Perhaps one of the craziest stories of the day came from Hunter Miller whose car quit 100 yards from the finish line. Miller and his co-driver had to push the car across the finish line and ended up in 5th place.
