The American Motorcyclist Association has announced the three riders who will represent the United States at the 2026 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations, set for October 2-4 at Ernée, France. Chance Hymas, Levi Kitchen and Cooper Webb will carry the Stars and Stripes as Team USA looks to reclaim the Chamberlain Trophy from Australia, which has won the past two editions of the event.
Hymas will compete in the MXGP class, marking his first appearance at the Motocross of Nations. The Honda HRC Progressive rider was originally selected for Team USA in 2024 but was forced to withdraw following an injury. Hymas enters this year’s event after a strong run in Pro Motocross, including a recent 250SMX victory at Budds Creek.
Kitchen will make his MXoN debut in the MX2 class. The Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider has been one of the leading 250-class racers in the United States this season and currently sits second in the Pro Motocross championship standings heading into the Ironman finale.
Three-time AMA Supercross 450SX Champion Cooper Webb will race in the Open class and serve as team captain. The 2026 event will mark Webb’s fourth Motocross of Nations appearance, following previous outings in 2015, 2016 and 2024. He has finished on the podium in all three appearances.
Team USA finished second to Australia at last year’s event at Ironman Raceway. AMA Director of Racing Mike Pelletier will return as team manager as the Americans attempt to bring the Chamberlain Trophy back to the United States.
