Thirteen Riders Confirmed for 2023 World Supercross Championship

Thirteen riders are confirmed to race for the 2023 season of the FIM World Supercross Championship. Eleven of those riders competed in last year’s inaugural events.

“The 2023 season is really starting to take shape, and I’m thrilled to see teams begin to announce their rider roster, which includes returning riders as well as some new racers who will line up at the start gates in July,” said SX Global CEO Adam Bailey. “This is just the beginning. There is a huge amount of work and negotiations that I’m aware of between teams, manufacturers, and championship contenders happening as we speak. It’s an incredibly exciting time.”

Two of the new riders include former AMA 250 Champion Justin Hill and Frenchman Cédric Soubeyras. Both riders will be riding for the BUD Racing Kawasaki team.

Joey Savatgy is back, riding for Rick Ware Racing. Also returning to the series is runner-up finisher Ken Roczen. Other riders in the series include Dean Wilson, Jordi Tixier, Matt Moss, Shane McElrath, Max Anstie, Kyle Chisolm, Max Desprey and Dilan Schwartz.

The first event gets underway July 1st at Vila Park in Birmingham, Britain.
