Chase Sexton Banks Another Win at Denver Supercross

Chase Sexton brought home his fifth Supercross win of the year at Round 16 in Denver, Colorado. Sexton is sitting second in the points standings with one final round to go.

When the gate dropped for the main event, Adam Cianciarulo was out front with the holeshot. By the first lap Eli Tomac had moved to second and soon took over the lead. On a jump, Tomac seriously injured his ankle and was forced to pull off the track leaving his Supercross Championship in jeopardy. Cianciarulo was back to the lead trying hold of Chase Sexton. Soon, Sexton took over the lead and as the laps ticked down, Ken Roczen made it to second. When the checkered flag flew, Sexton remained in the lead.

In the 250SX main event Jett Lawrence was on the move from eighth picking off riders. Up front RJ Hampshire and Levi Kitchen were battling for the lead. The battle continued all the way to the end where Hampshire would take the victory. Lawrence made it all the way to third by the time the checkered flag flew.
