Lawrence Siblings Sweep at Hangtown

Lawrence Siblings Sweep at Hangtown

The Lawrence brothers reigned supreme once again with both Jett and Hunter going 1-1 at Round 2 of the Pro Motocross Championship. Held in Northern California, the Hangtown Motocross classic is one of the most challenging and well-known events in the series.

In the 450 class, rookie Jett Lawrence polished his newly mounted red plate on his Honda and went out in the first moto to dominate the race. In the second moto, Dylan Ferrandis was out front with the holeshot, but that was very short lived as Jett stormed to the front. The only one to chase Jett down was Cooper Webb. Jett continued each lap to extend his lead winning the second moto and going 1-1 for the overall win.

Over in the 250 class, Hunter was writing the same story. Haiden Deegan took the lead on the opening lap. Hunter was picking off riders after starting deep in the top 10 field. Hunter was only able to make it to third with Deegan taking the win. In the second moto, Justin Cooper had the holeshot. Hunter quickly moved the lead and stayed there to win the moto. This marks the second weekend Hunter has taken the overall win.

Both Lawrence brothers lead the points in their classes.
