Jett and Hunter Lawrence Dominate Pro Motocross Championship

The Lawrence brothers have both locked up championships in the Pro Motocross Series. Jett was crowned champion a week ago in the 450 class. His brother, Hunter locked up the title in the 250 class at the final round at Ironman Raceway in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Meantime, over the in the 450 class, Jett went the entire season undefeated.

In the first moto, Jett was out front with the holeshot. Nobody could catch Jett who led the moto wire to wire. Chase Sexton crossed the line five seconds behind Jett. In the second moto, Dylan Ferrandis had the holeshot. Ferrandis lead was short lived as he crashed a few laps later ending his day. Jett took over keeping Sexton at bay. Jett won the moto with Sexton finishing second again.

Over the in the 250 class, Ryder DiFrancesco had the holeshot. Tom Vialle finally made a pass nine minutes into the race. Jo Shimoda also passed DiFrancesco. Shimoda also eventually made a pass on Vialle and went on to win the moto. In the second moto, DiFrancesco was back out front with the holeshot. Shimoda was also right back in the mix. Shimoda finally found his way to the lead. Levi Kitchen moved to second until a crash shut him down. Jo Shimoda went on to win the overall with a weekend sweep.
