Sad news is circulating the motocross industry. Supercross and Motocross rider Jeff Alessi reportedly passed away on October 2nd. The 34-year old rider was part of Honda racing team before switching to Red Bull KTM.
Alessi made his pro debut in the early 2000’s, riding in both the 250 and 450 classes at the Pro Motocross and Supercross series. Jeff Alessi competed alongside his brother Mike Alessi. Alessi’s last professional race was in 2016 in the Monster Energy Cup where he finished 22nd.
Alessi’s cause of death has not yet been revealed but some media outlets are reporting he may have died from a heart attack.
