Toyota Gazoo racing has signed Seth Quintero to race a Toyota Hilux T1+ at the 2024 Dakar Rally. Quintero, 21 years of age, has previously raced the Dakar Rally as part of the Red Bull Junior team. Quintero becomes one of the youngest factory drivers in the history of the rally.
“I’m addicted to progression, obsessed by it, and this step up to T1+ is all I’ve been thinking about for a while,” said Quintero.
Quintero’s co-driver will be Dennis Zenz. Both will get seat time at next week’s Dubai Baja event.
