Billy Bolt to Miss 2026 Red Bull Erzbergrodeo Due to Hand Injury

Husqvarna Factory Racing rider Billy Bolt will sit out the 2026 Red Bull Erzbergrodeo as he continues recovering from a hand injury suffered ahead of the second round of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship at Extreme XL Lagares in Portugal.

Despite the setback, Bolt fought through the pain to secure a fifth-place finish at the event. However, the team has elected to withdraw the seven-time world champion from the prestigious Austrian hard enduro race to focus on his long-term recovery and ensure a full return to fitness.

Although he will not compete, Bolt is expected to attend Erzbergrodeo to support his Husqvarna Factory Racing teammates before returning to the Red Bull Athlete Performance Centre to continue his rehabilitation program.

The British rider remains determined to return to Hard Enduro World Championship competition as soon as possible as he targets a comeback later in the season.
