Polaris Unleashes 275-Horsepower 2027 RZR Pro R Boost

Polaris has officially unveiled the 2027 RZR Pro R Boost, the most powerful production side-by-side the company has ever offered. Designed to push the limits of off-road performance, the new model produces an impressive 275 horsepower thanks to the addition of a turbocharged version of Polaris’ 2.0-liter ProStar Fury engine.

A 66-millimeter Garrett turbocharger and liquid-to-air intercooler helps deliver 50 more horsepower than the naturally aspirated Pro R while maintaining performance at elevations of up to 10,000 feet.  Engineers also upgraded the continuously variable transmission (CVT), strengthened the driveline, enlarged the half shafts, and redesigned the cooling system to handle the additional power and torque. A roof-mounted air intake directs airflow to the rear-mounted radiator, helping maintain consistent performance in extreme conditions.

The 2027 Pro R Boost will be available in both Ultimate and Ultra trim levels, with the latter receiving Polaris’ advanced Dynamix DVS suspension system, active sway-bar technology, carbon-fiber components, and BFGoodrich tires. Pricing begins at $49,999 for the two-seat Ultimate model, while four-seat and Ultra variants command higher price tags. Deliveries are expected to begin in November.
