Justin Cooper Out For Supercross

Justin Cooper is out for the 2022 Supercross season after crashing while practicing this week. Cooper says he was in a rhythm section and got off the line. As he was approaching the next triple, he didn’t have air and tried to save the bike, pinching his foot underneath the foot peg.

Cooper broke and dislocated four metatarsals as well as suffered fractures in his foot. He is expected to go into surgery next week. Cooper thinks he will be off the bike for a minimum of six months, causing him to miss the entire Supercross season.

Cooper won the 2021 Western Regional AMA 250 Championship.
