SCORE Race Schedule Released for 2023

SCORE International has released its racing schedule for 2023. Fall is typically the time when many racers reach out to companies to secure sponsorship for next year’s race season. The schedule release comes at a perfect time. As expected four races will be on the schedule, held in entirely in Baja. SCORE dropped some major news for 2023.

The season kicks off March 29th with the San Felipe 250. Events are expected to take place back on the Malecon as they did this year. The Baja 500 will take place in Ensenada May 31st. The Baja 400 also in Ensenada September 12th. The big announcement is the Baja 1000 will be a reverse peninsula run. Festivities will start in La Paz and the course will go north to Ensenada.

“Mexican races are the cornerstone of SCORE and to have all four races south of the border for the eighth consecutive season and eighth time in SCORE’s long history is a distinct honor and a wonderful privilege. We welcome the challenge to continue to add to the illustrious SCORE Baja racing legacy. And to finish the season with the iconic SCORE Baja 1000 always attracts racing extremists from around the world and 2023 will be a one-of-a-kind experience with the Granddaddy of all Desert Races starting in La Paz for the first time and finishing in Ensenada,” said SCORE President/Race Director Jose Grijalva.
