Eli Tomac Returns With a Win in Seattle

Eli Tomac secured his 50th Supercross win at Round 11 in Seattle. Tomac ties Chad Reeds record of 50 wins. Jeremy McGrath still has the most with 72 wins in his career.

When the gate dropped, Kevin Moranz had the holeshot with Chase Sexton, Tomac and Adam Cianciarulo in tow. Moranz went down early over a berm giving the position to Sexton. With Sexton out front, the pressure on was on. Roczen and Tomac battled for second but eventually lost two postions and quickly going down the leaderboard. Tomac quickly regained his positions and was back up to second chasing down Sexton. Unfortunately, Sexton washed out his front end throwing him off the bike. That was all Tomac needed to capture the lead and the race win. Cooper Webb and Tomac are tied for points and will both run the red plate at the next race.

The Western Regional 250 class was back after a five-week hiatus. Stilez Robertson had the holeshot. Jett Lawrence finally made it around Robertson over halfway into the race. Robertson tried to answer back and get his lead position but crashed at the end of the whoops section. The crash took Robertson out of the race. Lawrence went on to claim another win. Lawrence leads RJ Hampshire in the point standings.
