Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider Seth Hammaker’s promising 2026 campaign has come to an abrupt end after the Pennsylvania native suffered a shoulder injury during the High Point National. The team announced that Hammaker will miss the remainder of the Pro Motocross season and the rest of the SuperMotocross World Championship schedule while recovering from surgery.
Hammaker was injured during the second moto at High Point after a crash ended what had been one of the strongest stretches of his professional career. Subsequent examinations revealed a torn labrum, an injury that will require surgery and an extended rehabilitation period.
The setback is especially disappointing given Hammaker’s remarkable start to the season. The 250-class rider earned his first career overall victory at the opening round of the Pro Motocross Championship and carried the series lead into High Point after establishing himself as one of the title favorites. His focus now shifts toward recovery and preparing for the 2027 season. Hammaker has secured a contract renewal with Monster Energy Kawasaki.
